Stayed at a friend’s camp on East Long Pond this weekend and was told there are lakers in there. Fished late into last night, woke up at 4am and fished until 7:00 with no luck; on the way back to camp a fish rose to my left, I casted a few more, let one sink a bit more and finally, landed one. Excellent addition to a great weekend with friends!

My ladys first fish with a rapala! Also the laker I had to keep ended up being amazingly tasty. Old bay, minced garlic, thyme and lemon. Very simple but makes even fishy fish taste delische.
