Why would I follow 12k people???? My fishing story dates back to being 6 yrs old. Using soda cans. 2 liter bottles with cheap mono lines and small hooks. Fishing the canals of rural Rochester ny with my father. Time to time with my brothers and brother in laws. We immagrated to this great country in 1978. They said I once drowned in the Mekong river. My original homeland Laos! Being fearless and passionate. At 3 yrs old I dove into the dangerous waters alone. Not fearing anything. I floated away and only gain conciousness. From my eldest brother and his friends retreating me. Saving me. I've always loved fishing. Being hyper passionate. Any sport Id picked up. I would apply this same dedication. Either golf, fishing or Poker didn't matter. Forced Into retirement a few yrs ago. Due to multiple life threatening health issues. I started living life to the fullest. Being extremely lucky in life. grateful as can be. I dedicated my fishing ventures to my singled father. who would tie knots for me. fix and baited my poles till I was able to do so myself. He would drop me off at the bridge of long pond and park half a mile away in a parking lot. Either walked or ride a girly bike to the bridge just to spend time with us. RIP father. Inspired me to apply my passion through my fishing life as of now. If you've read this to this point. You've tolerated my boring story. This is what makes me walk that long walk. drive that long drive. Carry those heavy back packs and poles with a ton of gear just to think of my father once again. I'd do it over and over In a heart beat give everything up for 1 fishing session with my loving father. :(
