Beat the skunk in very high and turbulent water. Catch and release.

Caught a couple stocked trout, a ton of pan fish, and a juvenile largemouth... Lost a huge smallie😔

Past three days.

This cold snap essentially shut down the bite. I had plenty of short strikes from decent fish, but none fully committed. This micro dink was my only smallie of the day.

Chunky little rock bass with neat eyes. I never saw a rock bass with such huge eyes.
