Good one

The last portion of my trout bait, starting to pack up, and about to leave. The last moments of sunlight and then boom! I get a few bites, grab the rod, and set the hook expecting a little stocked rainbow... And then the fight began. Man what a catch! Special thanks to Pinoy_Outdoor aka Mark for the help catching and landing this beauty! Can't believe fish like these exists just under an hour drive away from Edmonton! A very productive, quick, late afternoon fishing session!

This "catch" felt like cheating. A friend lent me an automatic hook-setting rod holder to try. Looked kind of crazy, also, I was doubtful. But man -- it was super effective. Even for little guys like these, the trigger was able to be set off!
