Great day at the river 🎣 Finally got around to trying baitcaster reel for the first time -- got gifted one for my birthday last year from a good friend. First catch on a baitcaster is a baby sturgeon! Caught a total of 3 Sturgeons that day, helped a friend catch his first. Caught 2 Moon Eyes also which I haven't caught in a while so that was cool. Almost had a river trifecta, but the Walleye I hooked popped off before I was able to land it 😅 last Sturgeon was a buzzer-beater I hooked as I reeled in my rod to pack it up!

Caught with a Ball Jig with a 3in paddle tail swim bait (Chartreuse White) made by STH (Set The Hook). My P/B so far.
