Horsefly River

Healthy little ‘Bow from the Horsefly River that took a large stimulator in fantastic fashion. Had some action on an egg pattern as well, including a denial on the surface from a large Chinook which got my heart racing, along with some very large trout feeding on the salmon eggs. It wasn’t easy fishing though. Hookups were hard to come by and the fish didn’t want an egg after seeing it drift twice (three times if I was lucky) so there was lots of fly switches and resting pools. Great time though.
