We managed to catch a few crappie shooting docks with jigs and bluegill using crickets along the edge. These were the biggest.

Had a fun time pitching minnows and crickets yesterday. Caught a good many small fish, kept a few of the bigger crappie and bluegill for a meal or two.

Caught enough crappie and shell cracker for a few meals, these were the biggest. Caught the crappie on minnows and crickets for the shell cracker.

Several of the biggest crappie a friend and I caught yesterday casting Bobby Garland artificial bait on light jig heads. Love those dark spots on the males this time of year.
