Finally got out to test my new rod and reel and caught my pb. Didn't have a scale though sobit didn't count. Also stepped off a log and ended up knee deep in the water trying to land this beauty. Worth it!

Got this hog on my fly rod with a worm pattern. Son got his with a night crawler. Face planted right after getting it into the net snapping my reel. Didn't even care lol.

Had a couple hours after work, so I headed to the pond with a fresh set of nightcrawlers and some offset hooks. That was definitely the right decision! I feel very fortunate to have reeled in a 20", 19", 16" & a lil 13" fella. Only frustrating part was hooking into a nice Tank and having him snap my hook (check out the picture) Happy fishing 🎣 & Tight Lines My Friends!
