Third and final fish from yesterday. Also the biggest at 3.12 lbs. Also a really fun fight on the ultralight, he jumped and ran multiple times. I’ve just realized that as of yesterday I’ve fished 4 out of the 5 last few day in a row, not saying that’s a bad thing, but my thumbs aren’t loving it.

Second fish from yesterday. Probably my biggest bluegill out of here. The I snagged my rooster tail on a rock.

First fish from yesterday morning, although earlier I had one of those many three pounders, that I now know are in this pond, chase my swim jig all the way to the surface, by the tree, but I couldn’t hook up. So I went back to my stuff at the dock and put on a rooster tail and I cast it from the dock and this guy was suddenly on the end of my line, which is always a fun fight on the ultra light.

Last fish of the day, it was getting hot.

Second fish of the day, decent 2.8 pounder. Would’ve been the third fish of the day. So I hook set into this four pounder, and I got her all the way to the bank, and then she was flopping all over the place, and basically she snapped my line, cut my finger, and swam off slowly with my off brand dark sleeper in her mouth.

First fish of the day, tried something new. Decent one pounder.

Caught three more fish, the last two were on back to back casts, then I snagged my swim bait. Then I decided to head back to my house to have lunch. Tonight is actually my eighth grade graduation ceremony, so this morning was probably the best present I could have gotten.

This fish weighed the exact same as my last PB from New York! Definitely smaller than that fish from yesterday, RIP 🪦. Exact same area though. She felt like a rock when I first hooked set her. The bluegill got a little stuck in her gills, but she didn’t start bleeding, and swam off safely. I think the sign needs to be labeled “big fish live past this point.”
