💯🎣FIRST TOPWATER FISH OF 2026!🎣💯 I got off work at 4:30, and headed straight to the country! The creek to be more specific. I scaled the embankment with ninja-like stealth. One must use stealth when approaching the creek. Especially those with high banks. Fish can see overhead very well, and big Smallies are easily spooked. I quietly selected my baitcaster to start with. (I always bring 1 spinning rod and 1 baitcaster to the creek) WHOPPER PLOPPER TIME!!!👌 I made my first cast upstream, and carefully placed it at the cusp of an eddy. A slow retrieve with no takers... On my 2nd cast, however, as I slowy plopped it a little further downstream. Plop, plop, plop.. BOOOOOOOM! THE SURFACE EXPLODES VIOLENTLY, AND A BRONZE BASS COMES ALL THE WAY OUT THE WATER- SNATCHING THE PLOPPER AS HE COMES UP! Then, the fight was on! Such a powerful battle that ended with a beautiful Small Jaws on my thumb! It was so AWESOME, yall! God is so good! Tight Lines, yall. God bless all of you fish anglers!💯☝️💪🎣
