Great Miami River

The fish weren’t very aggressive today. The water was very clear and I watched 5 smallies circle my bait for over an hour without a single bite. I went down stream a bit and managed to catch a spotted bass and a bluegill using minnows.

I couldn’t find any minnows, but I managed to catch a few shad. I thought they’d be too big, but I put one on anyways and ended up catching a pretty nice smally.

I couldn’t find the fish today and only managed to get one bite. I caught this little guy on my catfish pole.

Fishing was slow, but the water was moving fast and was a little high and murky. It took me about 1.5 hours and I only got one bite. #CatchKing

It seems like the rain washed a bunch of the fish away, but I managed to catch one decent channel cat. #CatchKing
