Elk Creek

This steelhead season was one to remember and i cant wait for the fall again! What i enjoyed most was taking beginner steelhead fisherman and helping them put up numbers! I would take that even if it meant i had to get 🦨! Memories made!

Chased some steelhead in the Lake Erie tribs this past thanksgiving break.. hope everyone’s holiday was a good one!

First trip for steelhead, day 2. No bites all day so i rigged up a wolly bugger like yesterday. It did the trick. Landed this 26 incher again on 4x tippet. This sucker ran all over the creek. Up and down, about a 2 minute event; what a rush. The drag was screaming 😉

First time fishing for steelhead. A lot different than stock trout on a small stream. Elk Creek Erie Pa 👍

The only 2 I got today. They were big.. used ultra lite with 4lbs test. Soooo they fought good
