Old River Lakes

It was a great summer learning to fish! Ive been fishing for 4 months and have caught some decent cats but this is my PB. I bet it weighed every bit of 8lbs before I gutted it. I caught it at night but didn't get a scale until the next day.

My wife, Kingston, and me ran our drop lines this morning before church. Was a beautiful morning to spend on the water with my family. Managed 12 cats altogether, including this 33 pound blue. Had a great time with my wife and grandson

Blue cats are starting their run in the Sabine River. This is one of many me and a couple of my grandkids caught yesterday. Lots of fun and good eating too.

He bagged himself another gar. This is all he wanted to fish for today. We ended up with four about this size. Great day fishing even if it was gar. Hope all the FishAngler family has had a great weekend. Tight lines and God bless.

The family took the atvs down to the river for some bank fishing this afternoon. Despite being hot as all get out we had a great time. Caught several cats and this small gator gar. Kingston was the most excited about it. God bless everyone.

Went to the river this morning before it got too hot ended up with 7 keeper cats and a drum. All came on wild caught shiners. Lots of small ones to weed through too. Fixing to put some ribs on the grill and chill a bit. Happy 4th again to all.
