Cedar Creek Reservoir

Landed my new PB on my first day of practice for state on Cedar Creek. Weighed in at 7.52lbs! Caught me a little by surprise because I just wasn't expecting a big fish the first day on a lake I had never fished before. Was an awesome bite and crazy fight! That Academy brand squarebill just gets it done sometimes.

That's a wrap on the 2024-25 season for @texasbassnationyouth. Day one was tough, struggling to find the right size and losing the two biggest fish I hooked. Managed to find a good stretch of bank where I caught three of my four keepers. Weighed in 8.27lbs day one. Day two was just hard to find a bite. Ended up with one little guy for 1.5lbs for a two day total of 9.77lbs. Even though it was tough l'm still very grateful for the opportunity to make it to state all thanks to the good Lord above. And huge thanks to my dad for being my boat captain. Couldn't do it without him.
