Fat chunky guy, first fish of the summer!

What better way to start the summer than to catch some biggins! The bass that I caught was an accident, I was bluegill fishing with a micro hook and somehow caught that giant!

Spotted gar, we had him on the line but he came off. I’ve never caught a gar before. We’ll come back to catch him.

I was checking out an old creek that you couldn’t really get access to because of all of the trees, but when I checked it out today, it was very open and was a beautiful looking creek. This fishing spot was created by the Texas 4th of July flood.
