After enjoying an early winter season of warm temps and open water fishing, I finally got out for an ice session with Bennett Boothe and Jase. I managed to land three lakers and Jase got his first laker. A nice late start to ice season and great way to wrap up a great year of fishing. Finished the session on a weird note - one of my front teeth broke off while using my teeth to take off a glove. I had root canals on them after a basketball injury when I was 10, and was told they could become brittle someday. Apparently that day arrived, lol. It’ll be a hassle to get it fixed but I don’t think it’ll keep me off the water.
