I cast my little wobbler right up to the bank, and for a second, I thought I’d lost it as it snagged in the overhanging vegetation. But with a quick, gentle twitch, it popped loose, dropped back into the water, and—BOOM! A massive, violent strike almost instantly! It was a ferocious 65 cm Asp (Bolen) weighing 2.2 kg. He completely bent my light 14g rod double and gave me an incredible fight on the river. Moju 14-gramovú udicu ohol doslova do oblúka a predviedol krásny, adrenalínový boj. HYBRID!!! This is no regular Asp, this is a hybrid between a Orfe(ide) and a Asp!! Crazy topwater strikes and after blasting my spinner thru the baitball I hooked into this fella! He went on a few runs before getting tired and swimming right in my net. The strike was unfelt before, so powerful and hard!!
