Cutthroat trout

I'm ready for some easy ice. lol. Quite the hike. Only one lake got the best of me today. Onward!

Such a good day in the alpines. Hiked 10 miles in total almost had a grand slam but couldn’t get a Brookie but caught 3 species a Colorado river cuttie a Yellowstone cuttie and a greenback cuttie 2 new pbs and a great time with Lance and the boys

Wow did we get on some beauties today in the alpines. Three lakes. 10 miles. Worth it every time.

Hard not to admire these fish for surviving such brutal conditions with ice on some of these lakes in the Alpine of Colorado for up to nine or 10 months sometimes. Maybe that's why they're so beautiful up close.

Today I ice fished an alpine lake I've been dreaming of doing for nearly six years. This is my 67 year old friend who crushed a fish of a lifetime and a 16 mile round trip. We are so back. 💪🏻

Fun day fish’n, total of 45 fish; 3 rainbows and 42 cutthroat. 6 double ups and a triple up as well
