Finishing with a Bang: A Catfish on the Drift Back to the Car! 🛶🎣💥 I was slowly kicking my fins on the belly boat, making my way back towards the car. To pass the time during the drift, I kept casting and trolling a 12 cm Rapala wobbler in a perch pattern. Out of nowhere—WHAM! A hard strike completely bent the rod. It turned out to be a solid 60 cm Wels Catfish weighing 1.8 kg. What a fantastic way to wrap up a relaxing day on the water! 📏⚖️✨ Úder počas presunu: Sumec dáva úžasnú bodku za lovom! 🛶🎣💥 Už som bol na ceste k autu a pomaličky som kopal plutvami na belly boate smerom k brehu. Aby som nevynechal ani meter vody, počas presunu som nahadzoval a vláčil 12 cm vobler od Rapaly vo farbe ostrieža. V tom prišiel nekompromisný úder do prútu! Na druhom konci sa objavil tento pekný 60 cm sumec s váhou 1,8 kg. Krásne, adrenalínové ukončenie celého lovu. New Spot, Same Hunger: Looking for the Monster's Grandpa! 🪱🐟🎣 Same river, different location, but the results remain the same—the earthworms are working like a charm here too! I kicked off the session with another 37 cm Wels Catfish. 📏⚖️ But the stakes are much higher now. On my second rod, I’ve rigged up a live baitfish specifically targeted at a true river monster. I'm hoping that one of the little guys I safely released earlier went back down and told his dad or grandad to come out and play. Let's see if the big boss shows up tonight! 🌊🤞👹 Rovnaká rieka, iná lokalita: Pošle sumček svojho deda? 🪱🐟🎣 Tá istá rieka, ale zmenil som lokalitu – a dažďovky spoľahlivo fungujú aj tu! Hneď na úvod ma potešil ďalší 37 cm sumček, ktorý neodolal osvedčenej klasike. 📏⚖️ Tentokrát som však taktiku posunul o level vyššie. Na druhom prúte mám nastraženú poriadnu rybku na skutočného sumcového obra. Pevne verím a v duchu sa smejem, že ten drobec, ktorého som pred chvíľou pustil späť, pošle do akcie svojho otca alebo rovno deda!
