God I love fall Bass fishing

Smacked the shim e stick as I was pulling it over a weed bed, wasn’t expecting it at all

Thank God I caught this guy because an hour earlier I broke off on a PB carp. For some ungodly reason my drag was all the way torqued so when he ran I dramatically snapped off and spent the next 10 minutes screaming into the sky. Thank god for dumb bass.

Aggressive guy hit on a lure the size of him. Goofy lookin ahh

Watching him swim the bank for like 30 minutes, checking out the various lures and plastics I was tying on to entice him. Tied on the craw and he hit it instantly. Looked a lot bigger in the water and he got hooked weird, had to cut the hook and feed it out the non barbed side. Definitelt took away the satisfaction

4lbs test on an ultralight rod, my first real fight with a freshwater fish. The added challenge of not snapping your line makes the catch 1000 times more satisfying. There is NOTHING like having the beast you’ve been watching feed for 30 minutes make your line tight🔥🔥
