Racoon Creek

Slim pickings last night. Took every bit of 5 hours to get that blue to bite and that was the first bite of the night. Switched over and caught 6 carp and a couple saugey just to catch something. Definitely an off night, I only had 2 bites on my catfish gear all night. Oh well, it beats the skunk I thought I was gonna get. Tight lines and stay safe 🙏

Must be the new moon getting these guys fired up. The bite was super aggressive and they were biting all day. I don't even know how many I caught but it was a blast. Good luck out there and tight lines 🎣💯🙏

Still out there prowling around. Haven't posted in a while so here's a couple recent pics.

Caught this guy, a handful of smallmouth, and a rock bass from this spot and down river just south of the bridge. This largemouth was hanging out just off the quarry equipment bridge. There was moving water pooling just past the bridge and I caught him by pulling a Chartreuse rooster tail through the pool - First Cast.

I stumbled across this on Amazon. Looks legit, right?
