I got a taste of some pre-spawn smallmouth fishing today on the Susquehanna. I arrived home last night for Easter and decided to head to the Susquehanna to target some smallmouth in warm weather. I managed to land two nice bass on the baby whale! I’m hoping New York isn’t too far behind and the bass will start migrating up the rivers soon, but there was still ice on the lake yesterday… Onto the trout tomorrow!
