Recent Catches At Schuylkill River

Fished a little bit of new water this morning and landed a few beautiful brown trout. The only fish I landed today were in a hole I have fished a few times already, but I decided to head up the stream a bit. Unfortunately, it only resulted in one bite and no more fish to the net. Fishing right behind a sewage plant can be smelly, but I’m glad to see that these fish are thriving even with the oddly colored water being dumped into the creek.

1 HotDog + 1 Catfish = 1 HotCatDog :) This formula worked very well for me at the Schuylkill river in Philadelphia last weekend. The water below the dam is very polluted, unfortunately, but fish still live there. Obviously, not good to eat! It was fun to catch, snap a photo and release! *Caught with SABRETT beef frankfurters :)
