Atlantic salmon

My first trip to Grand Lake Stream was incredible!!! Caught 2-3 landlocked salmon per day over 3 days, along with some of the largest bass I’ve ever caught. Had a great first trip with two fishing buddies that will be unforgettable. Can’t wait for next year to make it an annual tradition.

never thought of getting one in downtown

Crazy story about this guy. I was fishing my local harbour after work today on a mission to find the infamous whitby harbour pike. Metal leaders, spoons, spinner baits, you name it all stocked up before driving to the spot. I was switching between bottom fishing and using lures. I figured it Doesn't hurt to catch a cat for fun, while trying to get a pike to bite. I'm trying different retrieves, fast slow, letting it hit bottom, stop and go. I cast out let it hit bottom, steady retrieve and boom a little steelhead.(Or Atlantic still not sure) Honestly not the biggest but definitely the most unexpected 😁

Had some fun with the fly rod today and landed a new species (on fly)! Got two little Atlantic Salmon, a Brown Trout, and tons of Fallfish on my 3 weight. I also managed to hook into a really nice salmon, but he unfortunately came off after a short battle.
