ON FIRE! 🔥🔥🔥 That’s what today was….! Back in QLD visiting my parents, and dad and I are on our usual Thursday Day 1 Fishing expedition! What a stunner sunrise…no wind…dolphins accompanying us to our first spot. We had it to ourselves and no sooner had I put my line in that I got my first fish. A beautiful Sweet Lip. I must have hit a school because I pulled out 2 more in quick succession. Then one by one without much interlude (just a few different spots) for the next 5 hours I just kept reeling and reeling them in. A total of 21 Fish across so many different species…I was on fire! 🔥🔥🔥 Feeling so blessed to be out today…and so many Sea Turtles, Stingrays and Osprey’s guiding the way…🙌🏻 Unfortunately daddy had a much quieter day with a tops of 8 fish across several species. His stand out was a a gorgeous deep coloured Rock Cod! 🐠 We also had one double up which is always special and I managed one chonka over 30cm Breambo! 🐟 My favourite fish was a nice Golden Trevally whichever put up one heck of a fight! 💪🏻 Species included: -Grassy Sweet Lip -Spangeled Emperor (Yellow Sweetlip) -Rock Cod -Golden Trevally -Moses Perch -Surf Bream -Tarwhine -Diamond Fish (Butter Bream) …and a Happy Moment Fish (Black Rabbit Fish)! Don’t touch or it’ll give you a happy moment you won’t forget…😫🐡 Tight Lines my friends 🐟💪🏻
